How To Get Built Abs Fast
You already have abs, because if you did not have abs you would not be able to stand up straight so the problem is that you cannot see them. Training your abs every day and doing a thousand sit-ups, or whatever abs exercise you prefer, is a total waste of time as it will not make your abs more visible.
If you want see start seeing your abs the way that G-d made them you then you have to start eating correctly and that means choosing your carbs. To select your carbs that you eat correctly is simply by knowing the difference between a complex carb and a simple carb or to know your Glycaemic Index (GI).
The bottom line is to avoid all white carbs and to rather select whole grain carbs or ‘slow carbs’. You should get into the habit of eating brown rice, quinoa as well as eating whole grain or whole wheat bread only and to eat whole oats in the morning, which is a great way to start the day.
The next most important part of seeing your abs is to select your protein correctly and many studies have now shown that if you consume around 35 grams of good quality protein in the morning you will encourage very favourable changes to your hormones and brain signals that control your appetite.
Studies conclusively show that eating a good quality breakfast will result in a feeling of fullness in your stomach and reduce the production of a hormone called ghrelin, which is directly responsible for the hunger that you feel. An example of a good quality breakfast is something like a cup of Greek yogurt, some Canadian bacon and cooked egg whites.
If you are going to be taking your abs seriously then you also need to avoid eating any processed foods which is not easy when you live in a big city. The simple truth is that any foods that have been through any kind of preservation will be totally devoid of nutrients and just put on fat.
ALL processed foods will have added in plenty of artificial stuff as well which your body cannot process. From sweeteners to colouring and hydrogenated oils, which are also too high in fructose corn syrup that gets processed by the liver immediately into fat.
If you want to see your abs then you have to eat vegetables and plenty of them. Counting calories can obviously help a lot as frying you vegetables will add too many calories so you should learn about the best way to prepare your food as well.
Whether you are training or not you need to start teaching yourself to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Eating complex carbs and good quality protein speeds up your metabolism which is something that has definitely proven itself in studies compared to people who do not drink as much as a gallon a day of water.
If you drink cold water your body will use more energy in heating it up so you will have an added benefit in speeding up metabolism. A recent study showed that there was a 30% increase in the speed of metabolism just from drinking 8 glasses of cold water a day.
You also need to consider the quality of the fats that you are eating if you want to see your abs. You are going to get these from monounsaturated as well as polyunsaturated fats found in olive oils or fish oils and mixed nuts. But they can also be found in natural peanut butter, avocadoes and flaxseed.
If you are counting calories, which is recommended then you should stick to no more than 30% of your calories to come from these fats during your day. The last point when you want to lose fat fast is to eat more often. That means as many as 5 to 7 times a day because the more often you eat the faster your metabolism will start going.
